We hope you can join us for the Council Recognition Dinner as we celebrate Scouting in the Blue Ridge Mountains Council and honor our Silver Beavers with the highest level of recognition a Council can bestow upon an adult volunteer.  These are individuals who have made a significant impact on the youth in Blue Ridge Mountains Council.  During the banquet, we will also recognize 2024 Eagle Scouts, other youth, and volunteer accomplishments, as well as Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, and Venture Leaders.

The 2024 Annual meeting of the Blue Ridge Mountain Council will commence on Friday, January 31, at 5:00p.m. at the Salem Civic Center located at 1001 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153.

The Annual Meeting of the Members of the corporation shall be for the purpose of received annual reports of the Executive Board, Officer, and various Committee, electing Members-At-Large, associate and honorary members of the Corporation, the Corporation’s Representatives to the National Council (other than the president and Council commissioner), and the At-Large members of the Executive Board, and receiving financial statement showing the financial position of the corporation as of the close of it most recent fiscal year and the results of operation during such year.

Any suggestions for consideration by Nomination Committee for Members-At-Large, At-Large members of the Executive Board, Associate Members, Honorary Members and National Council Representatives should be submitted in writing the Nominating Committee.
