University of Scouting 2021

University of Scouting 2021 will be a completely different experience! Expect to have opportunities to camp and practice the skills you have learned. See course list below. Download the course descriptions attachment for more information on courses offered.

Shirts can be preordered until April 14 to get your shirt at registration.  Orders after April 14 will be available after the event.  Shirts are $15.00 each. No longer available.

Walk-in sign ups on April 16 or 17 will incur a $10.00 late fee.

Saturday lunch is only meal provided.

Download and complete the UoSSign Up Sheet and submit to BRMC to register for you classes.

Courses:

• Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) - Friday evening and all day Saturday
• BB Gun Range Training
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
• Dutch Oven Cooking
• Frontier Skill (from Mountain Man Camp)
• Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) - Friday evening and all day Saturday
• Orienteering and Map Reading
• Pioneering Skills (from the merit badge)
• Recruitment and Cub Activites
• Scoutbook
• Teaching Nature to Cubs and Scouts
• U.S. Forest Service and Hazardous Weather

All participants will need to bring completed BSA Medical Form (Parts A, B1, B2) and CoVID Screening form to registration/check in.

Note: Credit Card payments will incure a 3% transaction fee added to the total amount due.
