Price:  The Price for the “Scouts on Ski’s” program for 2022 is $80 per person and includes:

  • All area open to close lift ticket             
  • Ski Rental Equipment for the day
  • Helmet                                                          
  • Meal voucher                                             
  • Group Lesson – Limited availability

This is a $159.00 value. Scouts receive a 50% discount        

There have been a few changes to the program for this season in order to assure the programs continued success.

Snowboard rentals will be available as in the past for an additional $10.00. Equipment change-out fees during the day is $20.00 and must be paid at time of change.

Extra meal vouchers are available to order.  They will be available to pickup on the day of your event.  Cost is $9.95 each.

Tubing sessions are offered every two hours starting at 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.  Tubing tickets are $30.00 per session payable directly to Winterplace. Since tubing is limited on the number of passes sold for each session Winterplace recommends that individuals go on line to purchase their tubing tickets at Winterplace Tubing

The Blue Ridge Mountains Council (BRMC) has established a BALOO & IOLS Instructor Corps. The mission of this instructor corps is to provide Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) training for Cub Scout pack adult leaders and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) training for Scouts BSA troop and Venturing crew adult leaders across the council (22 counties and 5 cities) on a regular basis all year round.  These courses are NOT available online, and must be attended in person.
