Cost:
Cost is $50 per person if received at least 10 days prior to the skiing date. Within 10 days the cost rises to $60 per person. The registration fee includes an all-day lift ticket, ski rental, ski lesson and lunch. Additional activites such as snow tubing, snowboarding and blade rental are extra.
Please see the flier for more details. Refunds will only be issued in the event of serious illness, death or the closure of the ski resort. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather or questionable skiing conditions.
Costs of additional activities are as follows:
Snow Tubing: Add two hours of snow tubing for just $12 more with the purchase of a Scouts on
Skis ski package available with preregistration or on-site registration. Sessions will be scheduled
from: 9–11 a.m., 11 a.m. –1 p.m., 1–3 p.m., and 3-5 p.m. You will be asked to choose a session upon arrival.
Snowboarding: $85
All Day Snow Tubing: Only $35 (Includes all day use of Tubing Park. No skiing. Does not include a lunch ticket.)
Rental Ski Bib Overalls: $6 (Available from the rental shop at Winterplace.)
Registration:
Registration is available by den, pack, troop, crew or post. Individuals or families may register separately. Payment must accompany registration. Pre-registration is preferred, but on-site registration will also be accepted. Registration and check-in at Winterplace will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Check, cash and Visa/Mastercard are all accepted. Make checks payable to "Boy Scouts of America" or fax registrations to (540) 265-0659.
Snow Sports Merit Badge for Boy Scouts:
Clinics for the Snow Sports Merit Badge are conducted at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. on all three Scouts on Skis dates. These clinics are included in the registration fee, but meeting the Snow Sports Merit Badge
requirements usually involves participation in more than one clinic. You must bring your own blue cards.
